Postpartum Support Virginia’s mission is to educate families, healthcare providers and communities about Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) and to provide resources to help new and expectant mothers and their families overcome anxiety, depression, and other PMADs.
For more than 30 years, Gifts for the Homeless (GFTH), a Washington, DC nonprofit, has been providing essential new winter clothing items and blankets, as well as good used clothing and accessories, to homeless shelters, soup kitchens, transitional housing facilities and other homeless support organizations in order to keep homeless men, women and children in the DC metro area a little warmer each winter.
